About the Charity

We are partnering with the Sir Gareth Edwards Cancer Charity to help young people in Wales (aged 15-35) manage the financial burdens of cancer treatment so they can focus on recovery.

To support this vital cause, we have designed exclusive, ultra soft divine fleece family pyjamas featuring a cosy tartan, fluffy sheep, and the phrase 'Nos Da' ('Good Night'). For every pair sold, profits are donated to the Sir Gareth Edwards Cancer Charity.

Gareth & Maureen

Gareth & Maureen

Gareth played Rugby for Wales 53 consecutive times and went on three tours with the British and Irish Lions. Gareth and his gorgeous wife Maureen have two sons and four grandchildren. Gareth is now 79 and wants to help support young people who are going through Cancer. He said "When I played for Wales we always played as a team. If one person was struggling we were all there ready to support them. This is what I would like to do with this charity. I have so much admiration for young people who go through such an extremely difficult time at this pivotal, life shaping time of their lives. They have no choice in the matter and their strength is immense. I want them to know that we are thinking of them and we are behind them.

Beki, Cedric & Lenny

Beki's Story

Hi, I’m Beki and these are my boys Cedric (9) and Lenny (2). Being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia wasn’t on my bingo card for my 30s. Being away from my boys for 5 week periods during intensive chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant was the hardest part of treatment. Everyday we’re making up for those missed snuggles. ‘Mummys bed’ has always been a safe place so receiving pyjamas from Sir Gareth Edwards charity was possibly the perfect gift. And kids always need more PJs! Both their favourite things, football and Bluey Character never fails to disappoint with their range. My eldest has already chosen his next pair.
Thankyou Sir Gareth Edwards Charity & Character.

Rachel, Lyla & Louie

Rachel's Story

Rachel from Treboeth was diagnosed with Lung cancer at 23. She relays an important message - 'Know your own body and know when something isn't normal'. Rachel is an incredibly valued Board Member for the Sir Gareth Edwards Cancer Charity, helping to raise awareness and support others going through cancer. Rachel’s children Lyla and Louie love their new pyjamas. Lyla plans to go to play football in hers!
