1. Promoter
This promotion is run by Character.com, Portcullis House, Kingsway, Swansea, SA5 4DL (“Promoter”).
2. Eligibility
2.1 The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
2.2 Employees of the Promoter, its group companies, or any parties directly involved in the administration of this promotion are not eligible to enter.
2.3 No purchase is necessary to enter.
3. How to Enter

3.2 Entries must be submitted via the official Character.com Instagram or Facebook channels during the Promotional Period.
3.3 Unlimited entries are permitted; however, each comment counts as one entry and must comply with these Terms & Conditions. Automated, bulk, or third-party entries are not permitted and may be disqualified.
4. Promotional Period
The competition opens at 10:00 (BST) on Friday 12 June and closes at 10:00 (BST) on Friday 26 June. Entries received outside this period will not be valid.
5. Winner Selection
5.1 One (1) winner will be selected at random from all valid entries using a fair and verifiable process.
5.2 The draw will take place within 5 working days of the closing date.
6. The Prize
6.1 The Prize is provided by Moonbug Entertainment Limited, 3rd Floor, Labs Upper Lock, 3-6 Water Lane, London, NW1 8JZ (“Prize Provider”).
6.2 Subject to the Prize Conditions below, the winner will receive a ‘Jurassic Coast’ experience to Dorset, UK for a family* of up to five (5) people (the “Prize”), including:
Return travel tickets to Dorset;
A 2-night hotel stay;
A guided fossil ‘hunt’ experience;
Local museum entry;
For children under the age of eight (8): a Natural History Museum and Blippi branded collection set, including two (2) plush toys, a t-shirt and swimming set (the “Goody Bag”).
7. Prize Conditions
7.1 Full Prize details are as follows:
Destination: the Prize consists of a weekend trip (2 nights) for a family to Dorset. The exact location in the Dorset area will be dependent on hotel availability at the time of booking and the sole discretion of the Prize Provider (the “Trip”).
Family*: The Trip is for up to five (5) people, comprising either: (i) two (2) adults and up to three (3) children (who must be aged sixteen (16) or under at the time of travel); or (ii) one (1) adult and up to four (4) children (who must be aged sixteen (16) or under at the time of travel). References to “Family or Party” in this section 7 shall be construed accordingly
Travel: travel for the Trip will be paid for by Prize Provider only as follows:
return standard (economy) class train tickets for the Family from local train stations within the UK to a train station near Dorset; or
return economy class flights for the Family from a major UK airport (to be selected by the Prize Provider) to a designated airport near Dorset, including standard ground transfers by train or bus from the arrival airport to the accommodation; or
reimbursement for petrol costs to and from Dorset, and parking fees in Dorset for a maximum of two (2) vehicles travelling from within the UK (subject to submission of valid receipts).
Accommodation: the accommodation in Dorset will be selected by the Prize Provider at the time of booking, based on availability and the final Party size. The Prize includes up to two standard rooms in a hotel on a bed-and-breakfast basis. While the Prize Provider will aim to secure a minimum 4-star hotel, this is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Activities: activities included in the Prize are:
a guided fossil ‘hunt’ for the Family. The exact location and details will be dependent on hotel location and availability at the time of booking. In the event of adverse weather conditions preventing the experience (to be determined by the guide in their sole discretion), a reasonable indoor alternative of equal value will be provided; and
entry to a local museum for the Family. The exact museum will be determined based on hotel location and availability at the time of booking.
The Goody Bag: if any of the Family on the Trip are below the age of eight (8), they will receive one (1) Goody Bag each.
Prize details are correct at the time of publication but are subject to availability. The Prize Provider reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or any part of it) with an alternative of equal or greater value if circumstances make it necessary to do so.
The Prize (including travel and accommodation) must be completed by 30 April 2027, though specific dates are subject to availability at the time of booking and the Exclusions below.
The winner of the Prize is responsible for ensuring that they and their guests are able to travel and (if required), hold valid travel documents. Failure to complete the Trip for the dates booked, or by 30 April 2027, will result in the forfeiture of the Prize, and no alternative prize or compensation will be provided.
The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternatives.
Prize elements will be void if resold or attempts are made to resell them.
Exclusions:
Unless explicitly stated, the Prize does not include: meals or snacks, beverages (including from the hotel minibar), insurance, baggage fees, spending money, souvenirs, taxis (or any other costs in connection with transfers from airports, train or bus stations) or any other personal expenses incurred in connection with the Trip, which shall be the sole responsibility of the winner and their guests.
The Trip may not be taken on the following dates (i) 18 December 2026 to January 3 2027 (inclusive), or (ii) 19 March 2027 to 4 April 2027 (inclusive). The Prize Provider reserves the right to refuse certain requested dates, even if they fall outside of peak holiday seasons, if standard room rate tiers or standard transport fares are unavailable for those specific dates.
8. Winner Notification
8.1 The winner will be contacted via direct message from the official @characterdotcom account within 5 working days of the draw.
8.2 The winner must respond within 5 days of notification confirming that they accept the prize. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternative winner.
8.3 The winner understands that their details will be shared with the Prizer Provider in order to book the Prize.
8.4 The winner must actively cooperate with the Prize Provider to facilitate the booking. Failure to respond to communications from the Prize Provider, or a failure to provide required guest details and travel availability within a reasonable timeframe, may result in forfeiture of the prize and the selection of an alternative winner.
9. Publicity
The Promoter may request that the winner participate in reasonable publicity relating to the promotion. Participation is at the winner’s discretion.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 The Promoter does not accept responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to technical faults or any other reason.
10.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the promotion or acceptance of the prize.
11. Data Protection
Personal data supplied during this promotion will only be processed as necessary to administer the competition and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
12. Platform Disclaimer
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook.
13. General
13.1 The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or disqualify any entrant who does not comply with these Terms & Conditions or who is suspected of fraudulent activity.
13.2 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the promotion where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
13.3 The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13.4 These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law.
